Unlike other hotels in Pokhara, Norgay Montes Hotel offers guests an immersive experience into Nepali culture. Hotel owner is the co-founder of Nepal-based NGO Karma Flights that provides humanitarian aid and scholarship programs to disadvantaged communities throughout Nepal. Guests who are interested in volunteering are encouraged to reach out to Prem or stop by the Karma Flights office in North Lakeside near 23rd street.


Additionally, Prem and his staff offer short-term and long-term Nepali language courses for guests who are keen to learning Nepal's diverse and exotic language. Courses take place in the rooftop classroom with Nepali teachers hailing from the Cosmic Brontosaurus Language School--the owner's celestial-named institution co-founded by longtime friend Greg McGrath of Australia. Interested guests can contact the school to schedule custom courses that fit their skill level and schedule.

Finally, if you’re interested about cooking, you can join Apsara the mother of the place to cook some typical Nepali Food. You will discover a lot of incredible tastes and make by yourself delicious special food.


Our Location

We are conveniently located in steer no 23 Bangladi, North Lakeside, Pokhara with easy access to Fewa Lake as well as Pokhara's best restaurants and nightlife. Only a short walk from the main road in Lakeside, guests can easily explore the city by day and have peace and quiet by night.

  1. Begin by heading 500 meters northeast from Hallan Chowk Intersection towards Kahare, Bangladi and Sedi.

  2. Make a right at the small road at Street no. 23 across vegan way Restaurant just before Freedom Café (look for a sign marked "Norgay Montes Hotel")

  3. We are located about 30 meters up the small road on your left.
